Topic outline

  • Young children are able to learn a lot faster than older ones because of their developmental stage. Their interaction with the external environment is key to how they view the world and their involvement in it at a later stage. The unit, Seed identification, creates a bond between the learner and his natural environment. The unit not only delivers content but also develops confidence, fine and gross motor skills, coordination, and flexibility. The 4-H Clubs has incorporated seed identification into its curriculum in order to develop an appreciation for the social as well as psychomotor development of their learners.
